The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), with support from the DfE, have created a free, online programme for trainee/early career geography teachers. The resource supports geographers’ subject knowledge through access to a series of themed subject knowledge modules that support the current curriculum and exam specifications in geography.
To access the modules you will be asked to sign into a Google account. If you don't have one already, you can create a Google account for free. If your school already uses Google classroom you may need to use a different email address/account to access the classroom below – joining classrooms outside your organisation is often blocked.
Access limits
There are access limits on the number of people that are able to join a classroom at any one time. Because of this, we will be removing all classroom members once limits are reached. If you have been removed and still wish to access the module, you are welcome to rejoin the classroom.
Associate Fellowship
Trainee teachers and those who are in the first 5 years of their career can join the Society as an Associate Fellow
