Follow up

Edit everything that you have learnt over the last three lessons to create three radio show entries or if you do not have recording devices write a script for your radio show entries, as if you were on a trek along the Chadar as adventure tourists. Your entries should include why you wanted to do this trip, what you can see, what your days are like and what you have experienced and why is it an adventure holiday. Each entry should be approximately five minutes long.

The entries should cover the following aspects of the project:

• Why is it adventure tourism?

This section fits adventure tourism into the wider framework of tourism, how are they are linked? Discuss why what you are doing is considered an adventure holiday compared to other holiday destinations.

• Why did you want to come on this trip?

Highlight why people go on adventure holidays. What do they offer that other holidays do not? 

• What have you seen and experienced so far?

Describe what you have done, seen and experienced. This will require some extra research. 

There are many sources of information that you can use to help you write your radio show. Use information websites on adventure tourism to Zanskar to discover the variety of attractions and sites.
