Scott is an expedition doctor with a specialist interest in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology. He has experience as a team leader on remote expeditions in sub-Saharan Africa and southeast Asia, having provided instructor support to military jungle training and serving on the United Nations Mission in South Sudan.
More recently, Scott has led the Rangers First Africa programme on behalf of the anti-poaching organisation WildCross, with support from the Scientific Exploration Society. Key interests include snake bites, tropical infectious disease and counter-poaching initiatives.
