Rebecca works as a Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor, expedition leader and, more recently, in TV safety. She has led expeditions on all seven continents and has climbed in all the major mountain ranges. Personal expeditions have taken her to 7000+m peaks and first ascent expeditions in the Himalaya, Central Asia and South Georgia, Antarctica. In 2019 she began Project Alpine Spirit, a quest to be the first all-women's team to climb the alpine 4000m peaks and has to date climbed 71 summits. She sits on the Alpine Club and Mount Everest Foundation screening expedition committee and has a PhD in Glacial Geomorphology. She is a Montane, Julbo and La Sportiva athlete, and Ellis Brigham, Cicerone and Protect Our Winters ambassador.
