Michelle is a filmmaker and social scientist whose work focuses on peoples’ relationships to the planet.
In 2021 she co-led and filmed the Oxford University sailing expedition Anthroposea: The Human Ocean, in partnership with Sail Britain. This project aimed to raise awareness for the value of social sciences in marine issues.
She now works in documentary filmmaking and impact production. She has worked on a range of subjects including investigating the practice of climate change tourism at the Great Barrier Reef, communicating about America’s Arctic landscapes to the public and policymakers, and following foragers around the UK to understand their visions for the future of sustainable food.
