About
Red Sea Project is an International non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection and conservation of marine ecosystems and biodiversity.
They bring individuals from all walks of life together with a world-class education system to work for the good of the Red Sea. The project continues to grow rapidly, with participation from members of the general public, citizen scientists, corporate scuba divers, local communities, educators and students; all contributing their knowledge, passion and experience to support the work to improve scientific awareness and inspire change across all touchpoints in their lives.
You can join the project to protect and enhance the cultural and social values of the worlds' ecosystems. Red Sea Project connects you with scientists and experts in the Red Sea to conduct citizen science and science-based programs and empowers you with the knowledge and data needed to conserve the Red Sea.
There are different programmes that focus specifically on Red Sea conservation and marine protection. In such programmes, scuba diving plays an important role and could be the perfect volunteering option if you are looking for something adventurous.
